The International Certificate of Competence (I.C.C.) is an Internationally Recognised Qualification, required by most charter operators worldwide, before you can hire, rent or charter a sailing yacht. The RYA Day Skipper (Tidal) Certification automatically entitles you to an I.C.C.!

Minimum age: 16 years.

  

The RYA Day Skipper Course is conducted on board a cruising yacht, and teaches pilotage, navigation, seamanship and boat handling up to the standard required to skipper a cruising yacht safely by day in tidal waters.
